Bumper pool on Brooklyn 99

I just started watching Brooklyn 99 and saw a bumper pool table, I didn't know bumper pool was played here, the bumper pool I know is tougher, no direct shots, only caroms or banks, it's super tactical like chess. Anyone else into bumper pool?

@WreckItRalph yeah, it's quite common here. I'm in Vegas and I've seen couples of my friend's dad own it. even my uncle has it

Vegas seems like a great place for bumper pool fans. I'm definitely gonna try that more tactical style you mentioned, it sounds way more challenging than I thought

@WreckItRalph Yep, bumper pool is absolutely played here in the US, but the rules can vary wildly. Some people play it super aggressively with direct shots, while others prefer the 'chess like' carom/bank only style
